From the terrace you can enjoy a view of Demerath and the Eifel landscape.From Demerath you can take a walk to the "Demerather Mühle" (mill) and there are lots of other well signposted walking paths.Demerath is centrally located, which allows you to easily explore the whole Volcanic Eifel region. In direct proximity you will find the famous "Maare" (water filled crater lakes). And in the city of Daun you can shop and visit the volcano museum and the animal park. A visit to the city Trier, the oldest city in Germany and Koblenz, the castle Manderscheid and the Nürnburgring are definitely worth it.
